HCC Hosts STEM, Robotics Summer Camps

Three skill levels of technology camps available for middle and high school students.

BRANDON, FL – Students looking for technology in their summer camps can find it at Hillsborough Community College campus in Brandon.

The Florida Advanced Technological Education Center is hosting several robotics and engineering camps this summer for middle and high school students across Tampa Bay.

Students can choose from various options, including a Girls Only camp to kick off the sessions. The introduction and intermediate camps are $175 per week, while the high school engineering and technology camp is $200 for the week.

This year’s schedule and curriculum is:

  • June 20-24: Girls Only Introductory EV3 Robotics Camp for middle school students (Scholarships available for girls of families with proof of free and reduced lunch or low income)
  • June 20-July 1: Introductory EV3 Robotics Camp for all middle school students
  • July 11-15: Intermediate EV3 Robotics Camp for all middle school students
  • July 25-29: Engineering Technology Camp for high school students

The Hillsborough Community College Brandon campus is located at 10414 E. Columbus Drive in Tampa.
